Post-Christmas blogging

Thank god, it's over.
Now I can get back to my usual blogging (rambling) and you can be pleased reading my words...oh oh oh..kidding.
Ok I'm eating some Russian Salad (which I'm not very sure it's called like that in the US) and drinking Coke...and my diet is hating me xD. I just finished reading a great book, "The Road" by Cormac Mcarthy. The book is great, now one of my fav. You really need to read it.
What else? Oh yeah, I've seen this cool post on Paperlilies' page: "What would you buy with 50000$ (just stuff you wear)". I'm probably gonna do that too on this blog..I wanna have fun (at least virtual fun) buying stuff.

Why the hell does everybody love Christmas time? It's cold, you've got to spend lots of money to buy gifts that will probably not be liked. And all the cute couples keep on smiling and laughing and loving. And you're alone, cold and most probably wasted, and you have to fake a smile just so you don't spoil the party to everyone else. Christmas sucks.

Here I am, once again (I'm torn into pieces) ahah..you're probably not gonna get that if you don't like Kelly Clarkson (whose new album sucks by the way, she's so trying to be Amy Lee).
Anyway, as the title says, this post has no point at all. It's just babbling about the facts that happened in the world in the last few weeks. Obviously not serious stuff, just random things.

Ah, The Shallowness Of Mine...

Hellooo, my readers (the few who read this blog). Today I'd like to share a little bit of my shallowness with you. Yesterday night, I was in a pub drinking some weird thing with alcohol in it (I think they called it Capeiroska or something..no, maybe it was a Banana Daiquiri..i don't know, whatever) and, sitting next to the front door, I just watched people going in and out. And I thought to myself:

"Jesus, Joseph and Mary, what the hell are they wearing??"

Ahah, love the blockquote thing. Anyway, Italy is famous to be the fashion-nation or something even more ridiculous, but you should really see what people wear around here! I mean, I know this sounds really gay, but how can you wear green and red, claiming not to look like a Xmas Tree? Or using those fucking ugly ballerina shoes with the little (fake) sparkling diamonds on 'em. Jeez! You see, everything you think is good of this place, is fake. Girls dress up like whores, and guys..well, you should see them to understand.

Mice and Cards

So, I just watched Ratatouille..it's great, I loved it. Those little mice..awwww, they were so cute. And we all need the happy ending at least once in our lives, or at least in movies! Gosh I am so bitter! ahah...
Anyways, today I am actually cheery, which is very rare. Reason of my idiosyncratic cheerfulness is the response I got from my Tarots the other day. You know, I always (well, often) draw bad cards, like Tower, Hermit and World upside down...If you are not fond of everyday magic, then you probably don't know what I'm talking about. Well, I'll try to explain the basics. By reading the Tarots, you can draw good cards (which usually tell you something positive about what you asked) or bad cards (which won't make you so happy). So I'm making it reaaaaally simple, but, that's it. Well, yesterday, I was asking for a situation that is not pleasant for me and I got...Page of Swords, which means...Truth.

As you may have understood, I'm not in a good mood today (just like many other days before this) and the reason is...I don't know. I just never seem to learn by my mistakes, I always make the wrong choice...fuck it. Home Issues

Ok, kind of in a bad mood today, I'm stressed, I'm tired and most of all, frustrated. Wonder why? You probably don't but I'm here to write about me so, here I go. First things first, I don't understand narrow-minded people. I don't understand how a person can think that his own culture is the best without testing the other ones, I don't understand how someone can think that the place he/she lives in is better than anything else, without ever seeing the world. I don't feel like I'm from one place only, I feel global, I feel like a child of the world. Maybe it's stupid, maybe it's random, whatever. How can you possibly consider being different (or better) than another person, just because that person does not have your same background? How is it possible? I'm as human as anyone else, I'm as imperfect as anyone else. People live where they live, they (often) don't choose it (raises hand), but they are human. America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, WHO CARES. I want to see the world, I want to meet people, I want to learn, and maybe teach something. But people just can't understand this.Point of this mess is, I live in Italy, it sucks, I hate this place, Take me away.
